5 Door Auto (83,000 Mi.)

Model of the car:5 Door Auto (83,000 Mi.)
General comments:Fun car but you don't really see the high-end in every day driving. This is NOT a sports car, it is a GT car and is a nice blend of performance and luzury but it is not a 3 Series or an S4 or an S2000...I had this car for about 15 months and traded it in for an Audi S4. The handling is average ... the auto transmissions is not the same after 20k miles and the brakes are good size but underpowered. The aftermarket parts for this car are there but not pelntiful ...Yes it is much cheaper than an S4 or a 330 but it is not the same, take the Type S - add springs, shocks, CAI, headers, lighter rims and sways - then it is a comparison but you just put 5 to 6k into the car (closing in on the competitors price) and VOIDED the warranty. Also this car is OK looking but does nto get looks like a 260 HP car should.Thsi car si great for unaggresive drivers who want a solid, nice FWD car for long road trips. This car is NOT good for people who like to drive and have fun in the car ... in a word you can tell it came from an Accord and no one would ever mistake an Accord for a sports car.
What things have gone wrong with the car:Brakes - Read the boards and you will see that most people are getting the rotors ground after 15k ... not goodTransmission - I have had the car for 23k and the transmission is not the same, it is very sloppy and worries me a bit...Handling, horrible body roll for a car compared to a BMW
 Previous car:BMW 330, 328 and E36 M3Audi S4 and TTHonda Accord V6
